Yamazaki 12 Years Old is an internationally renowned Japanese single malt whiskey produced by the Yamazaki Distillery, a subsidiary of the Japanese Suntory Group. . Yamazaki Distillery is Japan's first and oldest whiskey distillery. It was founded in 1923 and is located in Oyamazaki Town, Kyoto Prefecture. It is famous for its clear water source and four distinct climate conditions.

Yamazaki 12-year-old is favored by whiskey lovers for its rich fruity aroma and delicate taste. During the maturation process, it is mainly made from American oak barrels, plus some European oak barrels and Japanese oak barrels (Mizunara). This mixture gives it a unique aroma and taste layer. On the sip, you'll notice flavors of honey, ripe fruit, cocoa and a hint of vanilla, along with subtle woody and smoky aromas.

This whiskey has won awards in numerous international competitions, including a gold medal at the 2003 International Spirits Challenge. Yamazaki 12-year-old not only represents the exquisite craftsmanship of Japanese whiskey, but is also an outstanding representative of Japanese whiskey culture.
