Kanosuke Single Malt Whiskey is a Japanese single malt whiskey produced by Kanosuke Distillery in Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. The distillery started operations in 2017 and is located on the west coast of Hama Beach, Fukuoka. The whiskey is distilled using three unique pot stills and matured in re-charred American white oak shochu casks to enhance its flavour.
Kanosuke Single Malt Whiskey won multiple awards at the World Whiskey Awards (WWA) in 2023 for its rich and smooth taste, including category winner for exclusive bottle No. 001, 2021 Second Edition ’s Gold Award, and the Silver Award for the first edition in 2021.
