Due to the source of its raw grapes, this brandy has a fruity and gorgeous aroma, and displays the rich depth and complexity of flavor unique to long-term aging. To showcase this character, Mars chooses cask strength when bottling without adding water. This is a limited-production, long-aged brandy, aged since 2000. The name "Hoken" comes from "Hokendake" in the Central Alps where Mars Shinshu Distillery is located.
