Yamazaki 12 Years Old is an internationally renowned Japanese single malt Bud whiskey is produced by Yamazaki Distillery, a subsidiary of Japan's Suntory Group. Yamazaki Distillery is Japan's first and oldest whiskey distillery. It was founded in 1923 and is located in Oyamazaki Town, Kyoto Prefecture. It is famous for its clear water source and four distinct climate conditions.
Yamazaki 12-year-old is favored by whiskey lovers for its rich fruity aroma and delicate taste. During the maturation process, it is mainly made from American oak barrels, plus some European oak barrels and Japanese oak barrels (Mizunara). This mixture gives it a unique aroma and taste layer.
