Discontinued Japanese whiskey
This blended malt whiskey is to commemorate the history of Japanese whiskey Named after his father, Taketsuru Masatoko. Masataka Taketsuru was the first Japanese to master whiskey making in Scotland and a pioneer in producing genuine whiskey in Japan. Masataka Taketsuru's vision for whiskey was shaped by his experience in Scotland, where he learned that the rich natural resources surrounding the distillery were essential to making whiskey.
Settled and matured in oak casks for 12 years or more, this whiskey is characterized by a rich aroma and a soft, balanced malt taste with a clean finish. This series of wines are blended from long-term mature malt whiskeys from the Yoichi Distillery and Guanchengxia Distillery, both owned by the Nippon Whiskey Company. The advantage is that the smoky Yoichi whiskey and the fiber-flavored Miyagikyo whiskey are perfectly blended together. They are dubbed as mellow, mature, and supreme, and you can experience different flavors.
