Kurayoshi Distillery
Situated with a mountain view, Kurayoshi has a high-quality water source that is indispensable for making whiskey. The word Kurayoshi is said to come from the meaning of "comfortable living". The climate here belongs to the Sea of Japan, with a large temperature difference between day and night. Compared with the whiskey's hometown, the maturation process is faster. It can be said that whiskey is a product of the natural environment.
Oak barrel maturation process
Making whiskey not only requires high-quality water sources, but the oak barrel maturation process is also an important part in our opinion. We are exploring the use of Mizunara wood or cherry wood as barrel materials, or using wine barrels, sherry barrels, etc. to conduct research on the production of various raw wines. Through the post-maturation process in various oak barrels, we are committed to producing diversified raw wines in order to provide consumers with whiskeys of various flavors.
